Make A Stand....
The smell of smoke and saran gas...
America is crumbling don't you see?
filled with laws we're no longer free...
You say we fight for the red, white and blue,
That our people are this country's foundation...
One September morning,
Our nation was torn...
The flag is lowered, steady, slow,
Through tears I watch them fold it up...
I love my country dearly,
I celebrate it yearly...
By: Corporal Aaron M. Gilbert, US Marine Corps
USS SAIPAN, PERSIAN GULF...
Once we set our sails
We stared from towers...
SOLDIERS
Soldiers fight for Freedom true...
A slave I must be
A slave I'll never be...
Boys and girls grow up with dreams,
Some want to be doctors, cops, and queens...
I sit among the marble columns
And gaze down endless rows...
