Black and white Gazette
So often still adds colour...
I am nobody
and might always be like such...
What resides inside welcomed too much anguish and...
To take one moment of hurt I self medicate...
Trying to be calm
When all emotions run wild...
Wrapped up in a white skin!
I am, we are African...
Earth bound, tied to who I am!
No brush to canvas to releases the emotions...
I admit, I am deep!
The bubble gum and popcorn brigade...
Can you foretell tomorrow?
The past lives in my poems...
I was born this way!
I know wrong from right...
I think
that fostering a sense...
I can’t ease her burden.
I try, but maybe not enough...
Many are highly regarded in society,
Placed in esteemed positions...
