My Black Dress
In the far corner of my closet...
Freedom of speech
Be careful what you say...
Apathy, a vacant stare, confusion in sad eyes,
plaques and tangles in the brain...
If things changed by closing our eyes
And only true love could silence screams...
One may sit and wonder,
What lies up ahead...
His and Hers Suits
Wrinkle cascade where her heart used to be...
I am buoyancy bottled,
Folded and swallowed...
Happiness is self-delusion
As is every emotion...
My sight grows dim
As my colours slowly fade to gray...
I dreamt a dream of lovers weeping,
Tears of soul slowly seeping...
I wander cold, when all is told,
Alone within my heart...
I Knew Joy
A smile adorned my face...
