They border us to make us fight.
When we are separated...
You looked at my skin and said:
you are not bleeding enough...
the shadows chew through my appendages
and into bone, and i do not scream...
My soul is so tempered and tamed
in that temple of a little bloom...
you thought walls don’t move
but they do...
Tail bent and buckled
Body painted with tyre marks...
Lately, it's felt nearly impossible
to get out of bed...
At noon a mouse beneath the seesaw saw
An elephant with nuts across the yard...
The wail of man-breathed wind floats here
And bodies lay that felt no fear...
When you hide behind
the beauty of your dear masks...
Silence isn't voiceless
it's the very existence...
Dusk fell softly
Like children's footsteps...
