Upon a summer crossing
I lay my weary head to rest...
Heat, it swaddles me
Wraps my body...
I found myself loitering amidst flowers
And she ambles oh so heavenly refined...
Brutal. Another lover
too. Four-letter words kill...
If I could change the world where would I start?
I'd place love and kindness in everyone's heart...
There is a river,
Flowing gently by...
The sun peaks from behind the mountain,
The cold defeats the warmth in the air...
Note: each stanza is a haiku. I put them together...
WINTRY SNOW...
Gentle rippling rapids on rocks
Soothing whispers beckons to drift...
You're eccentric compared to loves of my past.
Irregular yet consistent...
Grooming her feathers
dove obeying nature's laws...
Sipping on lemonade
within a springtime mist...
