staring at my coffee cup,
flies begin to gather...
Poetry
By writing you...
I can't fall asleep if you're
not at ease, steady in my arms...
Spinning, hurtling, tumbling through the air
The pointed nose, the tail so bright...
They're in search of Maroon,
Maroon like the clay rivulets of incandescence...
you drew me like a tattoo;
i was your little bird, birthed...
I wasn't doing anything,
just floating on the ocean...
Let me tell you
about the struggle...
Must
propel...
Beyond a poet's mind
Emotion breaks into free verse...
Don't mistake
my kindness...
I like cups of tea
So get used to me with it...
